I'm sure this has been discussed before but I have a gelding that has a spooking problem no matter what I do.Vet checked no ulcers.I had a person tell me Mare Magic might help but I didn't know you could use it for geldings sooo that's my question. Can you?

Yes, but I used crushed raspberry leaves instead. Much cheaper and the same thing. Helps them focus. I ordered from morethanalive.com or bulkherbstore.com. Sometimes morethanalive was out of them. Cheap enough try it and see if it works. Not every supplement works on every horse.

We board a pretty hot mare who was fairly unrideable during her heat cycles. Started her on mare magic and she is more focused, and able to be ridden while in heat.

The feed I give him is 2lbs of whole oats and a handful of omolene at night with a block of coastal hay and the same in the morning. He is out on the pasture during the day and is ridden everyday.

Mare Magic is Raspberry leaf you can buy straight Raspberry leaf or there is a new formula by Animal Element called Mare-aculous you might want to take a look at. It helps mares with hard cycles and helps regulate the reproductive system.

I have a really hot mare on it and while it has calmed her heat cycles (she's a squat, pee, n squeal kind of girl) and brought her into a little more mental focus,it hasn't done much for my other mare who has normal cycles but can be unfocused at races, etc. I am going to use something else for her as neither this nor calming supplements have seemed to work. I had a gelding on Be Calm and it worked great for him, he was almost comatose a few times. LOL

Thanks for the money saving tip...I can definitely use that info, every penny counts right now!!
