Warrior Mom Posts: 4400	I'm at my wits end with all these cats around here using the vegetable garden and my planters as their litter box! I saw a few sprays and powders at the hardware store but they were really high priced for a little bottle. Was wondering if there was a homemade concoction to deter them.

I may try that. Those fancy sprays and powders were pepper based.. maybe try cayenne pepper or chili powder or black pepper.

Expert Posts: 3815 Location: The best kept secret in TX	We sprinkled Moth Balls all around the garden and in the flower beds.... Something to think about tho: We got them out of the flower bed, then they started using the gravel walkways and drive... I ruined so many pairs of shoes....

	a GREAT BIG dog ... try some Sulphur powder ... it is a good deterrent to a lot of things .. including ticks and chiggers ... lol
