I bought I really nice mare last year and I'm wanting to breed her! She's on off the track QH with an SI of 91 and won like 13,000 on the track. She's also a nice barrel horse, I just lack the experience to make her go (been a hunter jumper all my life) I am taking her to races now but always in the 4D when she's easily a 1D/2D horses. I'll get there... anyways she's got the BEST disposition and temperament ever! I love that about her, I can not ride her for weeks and get in and she's the same horse, my little brother can get on, and she'll either sit by the rail and watch the runs or i can make her run them herself she's amazing!
I wanting to know what bloodlines have a good dispositions like hers? Wanting to breed to something nice and keep a foal to eventually run on! I'll take any and all opinions! If you like or don't like certain bloodlines tell me why!
Here's her pedigree!

Our Frenchmans Fabulous has a incredable mind. She was working the branding pen after 20 rides! We have A Dash Ta Streak yearling who is nothing short of amazing. He is a very old soul. Nothing bothers this colt and I have seen pics of A Dash Ta Streak at barrel races with kids on him bareback in a halter! That says alot about a stallion and he obviously gave this colt that same mind. Our Firewaterontherocks 2 yr old is on he hotter side. All 3 out of the same mare.

I really appreciate this info!! I have been looking into some Dash to Perks, Dash to Fame horses along with Frenchmans Guy progeny! Have you heard anything temperament wise with Streakin Six horses?

I have a SS grandson, and I'm not sure exactly where his temperament comes from, but he thinks he is a big dog! I require a special kind of horse, and he's been toting me around since he was 5. He's 22 this year, and he has been the same reliable boy from day one. He'll lay his head on my shoulder for me to rub in his ear, or follow me around the barn area with sad eyes thinking he will get a treat----and usually does!!! I would take more just like him.

I love her breeding! I have a mare that has Beduino in her as well and would love to hear if anyone has found great crosses for those horses. Your mare is bred to race, so anything that is at least her caliber will be born to run. For me personally, I would breed her to a stud that has a little more "cow" in them, meaning a more versatile ranch stud then just straight racehorse. Look at her confirmation. Are there things that you'd like to change or things that you LOVE? Then find a stud that compliments her/gives her a little more in the area she's lacking. Try and narrow it down to a couple and then find out more about their personalities, looks at what they've produced, their weaknesses, etc. Good luck!
