Whats your favorite? I dont have a bleeder, we use Flairstrips just to help with any breathing. Just curious what everyone else uses and likes. I tried the 'In the Zone' paste by AE sunday and i think it calmed my guy down a little too much for my liking. We dont have gate issues but he does get excited and on the AE i had to almost remind him we were running! I want to give him a little extra oompf but still keep his head.

If you are coming to the Okc shootout I can meet you and let you try a dose of forerunner paste. It is amazing. A tube is 20.00 for 4 servings I wouldn't charge ya for a does if you wanted to try :))

You know, I was NOT sold on paste's until I tried OE Nitro and Wind. I had gotten a really good deal on 5 tubes of each, so i said what the heck. We've been using it all summer and I really like it! My horse is running and firing harder. Its been a pretty hot and humid summer so I feel the Wind has really helped on those muggy rodeo nights.

I have heard great things about AE In the Zone, have you tried just a half dose to knock the edge off but still get results?

Sadly, i wont be /: i greatly appreciate your offer though, thats very kind of you! I have the Best of the Best barrel race in Ohio next week and wanna find something for that! Ive actually tried the Forerunner and liked it ALOT! but I feel like its not giving him enough oompf if ya know what i mean?

I love the In the Zone, I've used it for years and literally order it by the case. Play with your dosage. I have some that run on 10 ccs and some that run on a tube! I also run my good horse on rush from oxygen and in the zone. The rush alone gave him a little too much rush! lol! I also love the oxy silver.

Ive been looking into the Nitro!! and i know its on sale right now so id like to get a tube and try it. I just wonder how it will effect him. I dont want it to make him hot.

It worked AMAZING for my friend whos horse had horrible gate issues but he still fired but hes also a bigger horse. I only gave him 15cc when i used it sunday. I thought about dropping it to 10cc, but i hate that it took away his fire. so im still kinda worried about using it again.

I've liked all the OE products I've tried. Composed worked really well on a mare I have that gets anxious at the gate.

I use Gastro-Plex Paste by MVP about 2 hours out from making a run. It helps coat the stomach because it contains ingredients like probiotics and gelatin, which protects the soft tissue in the stomach from any acid sloshing around in there. In return, you'll see your horse more relaxed and focused, since it takes away that abrasiveness of the acid.

I also use it on young horses that I just started hauling, or horses that get loose stool when on the road. I hauled 3 hours to our NBHA State Finals and my mare had loose stool coming off the trailer. I gave her GastroPlex paste and by the evening when I settled into her stall she no longer was making cow pies

If you order through United Vet Equine (http://www.unitedvetequine.com/horse-ulcer-digestion/Gastro-Plex-MVP-horse-supplements.asp) you can buy 4 tubes and get the 5th one for free. Each tube contains 2 doses. Hope this helps!

I'm an MVP user and I think I'm going to give this a shot next time I haul! My horse tends to be a nervous Nelly and I tried Ulcerguard before finals this past weekend it it worked WONDERS on his gut. Ran really hard and clocked better than ever in that pen, never had the loose stool. But as you know that stuff is so expensive! So I'll be buying some Gastroplex to see if I get the same results but for cheaper! Thank you for that reminder. Ive been meaning to try it!
