| Does anyone have any experience or opinions about Agouti bred horses? Looking at a horse that’s Dam is by Agouti, and can’t seem to find much in regards to people’s experience in the barrel pen in them. Thanks! |

Location: Georgia | I have a son of Agouti and I love him. He was a little late to mature, physically and on the pattern, but he’s starting to fill out nicely and become extremely solid. Super fun personality and the most laid back horse I’ve ever owned. He’s now 5 and showing so much promise. |

Location: Illinois | I got a mare by him out of a TB. We started her as a three year old during my internship at a trainers and she was awesome, very talented on the pattern and quick. Her owners turned down good money for her, took her home, and turned her out (I was told by a close source they were intimidated by the mare because they are beginners and they had multiple horses with the same history, very young, brought home after a trainer has them working well, ride good a couple times, and once anything scares them, they throw them in the field). I was contacted on buying her two months ago and now she's in my field.. I got weight on her and plan to bring her back into work soon, she's not been rode in two years. I'll update when I get back on her. Id love to learn more on Agouti as well. W |
