| Looking for a fly sheet with attached hood, as my guy absolutely hates the bugs. Has anyone tried the Smartpak Deluxe fly sheet? I would like as much UV protection as possible. Thing is, a 75in blanket is too snug in the shoulders, and the 76in is pretty darn perfect. I can't find many fly sheets with hoods that are 76in. Everyone keeps talking about the Amigo Mio, but it goes from 75 to 78, and am wondering if that will be huge on him. He's an appendix QH, so rather on the slender side. I have heard good things about the Kensingtons, but they do not have an attached hood.
I will be moving my guy in the middle of May where he will be out 24/7.
Also, for those that have their horses on 24/7 turnout, any advice? Do you do anything differently? Any tips or tricks? Thank you!
Anyone tried the spot on fly treatments?
Edited to add: There are lots of 78in fly sheets with hoods that have great reviews, I just don't know if he will be swimming in it.

Location: Illinois | I've had the Mio for a couple years and mine run really big. Mine wear 80" blankets so I got the 81" and holy crap were they huge. The 78" fits them just fine, but the necks are insanely huge. You could fit the neck on a draft horse & they'd never stay up bc they were so big. I haven't tried the SmartPak one but I've thought about it. I got the Shires Tempest detach a neck & it fits really well and held up all summer with no holes or tears. I was going through 2 Mio's a year before the switch. |

Location: Texas | I tried the Rambos and didn't care for them. I have three of the Horseware Amigo Mio combo sheets. I liked them, but just didn't use them as much as I thought I would. I may be interested in selling them. I need to go look what sizes they are. |

If you could message me the specs on the sheet that would be great! If I get the wrong size, could I exchange it? |
