| I've used it for two decades. Other than it is smaller pieces now, I liked it better with bigger pieces and less dust, I've loved using it. You can hide a multitude of yucky stuff in it when wet, it's pure fiber, low nsc, mid-calorie. It's been great for mixing with Renew Gold since even at the highest feeding amount RG doesn't amount to much volume. |

Well thats one way of doing it. I have a (2 wheel) wheel barrow and I think that would be a good way of mixing the beet plup if feeding more then a few horses. But still what a pain in the |

| Ever hear of the beet pulp explosion? This isn't my photo but I've had this happen before overnight in my kitchen sink. Lol! Love beet pulp for harder keepers or for delivering powdered meds.

| I've never fed it but did see a thing the othere day about horses chocking on it. The vet said that she treats lots and lots of horses that have chocked on it. She showed a picture of a stomach tube full of the stuff. |

Yeah, typically happens when fed dry or not fully soaked. I've seen it happen twice. It expands significantly with moisture. Thats why you should never feed it dry |

| I couldn't imagine feeding it dry but I know plenty do and they say they never had a choke. My horse is notorious for choking so I always soaked it and made sure it was mushy. I believe I read the same article by the vet who said her #1 choke culprit was beet pulp .. didn't matter if it was shreds, pelleted, soaked or fed dry. She pretty much pleaded not to feed it. |
