| Lol! I can't do it! I dont know who's worse, me or my husband. I knew he was getting it for me, because he told me but I wasnt expecting to actually have it here for a few weeks! I came in last night from horses and he says come in here and there it was in the case on our bed lol! He said he couldn't wait. Then my mom sent me a bday package from fed ex .. it arrived 2 days ago she said dont you open it till Sunday.. I absolutely love the framed picture she got me of my main horse hahaha!! I'm terrible I know... I fessed up to her today

Here comes the wild scary dreams... ugh. Someone please tell me this is normal! I'm trying to defend myself and my gun wont fire, my bullets just fall to the ground lol! Doesnt help my hubby has been gone all week so it's just been my 3 kids and I at home. I dont sleep well at all when hes gone, I'm constantly up, checking doors and looking out the windows. We live way out in the country. I'm wanting to teach my kids a plan in case something ever went down... their rooms are on the other side of the house from my bedroom I know my big lab would let me know if someone was outside trying to get in. Obviously I need to get more confidence with the pistol, I've got "big Bertha " right by my bed, (shotgun) but these dreams are making me crazy!! I guess it was those 911 recordings we listened to in the LTC class about peoples homes being infiltrated and these people having to shoot the intruders. Scared the crud outta me!
Get you some Solar motion sensor outdoor lights and put up a few around your house, I have them up around my house and chicken pen, I have a big coyote problem and this has really help keeping them out of the yard and I would think if anyone was snooping around and a light hit them they would not stick around..
We have several of the solar motion lights around our property! Love them! Also, hubby found one with a solar panel with a long cord -- he installed the panel outside the barn and the light is installed inside the barn -- so it pops on inside the barn as soon as I open the barn door -- which is very nice. It scares the critters off prior to my walking inside and turning on the regular lights. (I have had a very bad skunk experience so I'm all about the critters leaving the barn before I walk inside.) |
