and this is one of the commenters answering goofy comments by other lookers .... NOT A ONE OF THEM ZONED IN ON THE BACK CINCH .... LOL
OK, I'm gonna answer all the comments: There is no saddle blanket. That's not entirely necessary if the saddle is lined with wool. It may be. The strap in back is to keep the saddle in place in case the horse bucks. It is supposed to be loose. The strap is under the rider's leg. Yes, you can ride a horse if it is in foal. If you're light, and don't make the horse strain itself. The bit is a snaffle bit, and it's attached to a halter. I hate snaffle bits, because they're too severe in my opinion. I prefer a regular bridle with a curb bit. Other than that, the horse seems to be a very nice and kind natured creature. It's ears are back, but not pinned back. This horse is not angry.

Location: SW MO | ~~My husband's niece & her boy friend came to our house one time to ride horses, they were both around 20. I was busy but told them it would be fine. The boy friend assured me he knew how to saddle a horse. They are down in the front pasture riding when my husband comes home. He comes to the house shaking his head and I ask him what is wrong. He says he took the cinch off his saddle that morning to take it & wash it at the car wash. The boy friend who is riding my husband’s saddle has used the breast collar for a cinch.... |
