Doctors today brought it up as a possilbe regimen for my spinal injury. They have me scheduled for an SI injection april 8th (put it off four weeks to have plenty of time to recuperate from surgery friday). They are trying to treat facet hypertrophy and ligamentum flavum (sp). And spinal stenosis. |

Location: stray dump capital of the world | I'm on it since being bucked off a year ago. My injuries were a fractured pelvis, fractured sacrum and fractured coccyx. I had an injection to stop the shooting pain in my sciatic nerve and I had 2 injections for my SI joint with the last one a week ago. The sciatic nerve shot worked, but the SI injections haven't. I have numbness in my left leg and terrible shooting pain in the left side of my back. I'm looking possible fusion surgery which I honestly do not want. I go to the doctor on the 13th and I guess the decision will be made then. I wasn't sure that the Lyrica was working until I went a couple days without it. I haven't had any side effects from it. Hope it and the injections work out for you. |

Butrans I am from Canada so it may go under a different name, but your doc can look it up.
The only side effect I have is if I take 150 of lyrica in the morning I cannot function till the afternoon, cut am fine with 75 morning and 150 at bedtime |

I am only on 75 twice a day. He is talking about increasing it, but if it makes me whacky, I'll stay with the 75. |

Location: Oklahoma & Texas | It was a miracle drug for me til I had my neck surgery..had herniated discs in C5/C6 and C7...it was the only thing that helped.... and also I hesitated on the surgery but am so glad I did it...I had a top notch surgeon and am 95 percent better...couldnt be happier from the result...being 35 I never thought I'd be doing this so early but thanks to being so hard on my body over the years with horses and such it caught up with me! But yes Lyrica was worth every penny...ask ur doc for samples mine always had a ton and I rarely had to get a script filled lol it ran 72 bucks a month with my insurance but I tell you what in the difference it made I would have went hungry before I went without it. It made me sleepy first week I took it but I got used to it and then never noticed any side effects. I took it for 5 months til my surgery this past August.

Location: Probably On the Road to the Next Barrel Race! | Thats funny yall mentioned no side effects...I couldn't stick with it because it made me an absolute zombie the next day until noon...I have a friend who has been on it a long time...it works for her, but she has to take it by 8 pm or she suffers morning lag with it, as well. |

Location: Texas | My son cannot function without Lyrica. He had chemo back in 2006 and started experiencing nerve pain in his feet as a result. He let his prescription run out and was out for a few days before he could get in to the doctor. Learned his lesson and that will not happen again. |
