| I took her to the local riding club because there is usually a lot of unnecessary commotion going on and figured if she can handle that she can handle almost anything. Fortunately, I guess, there were very few of the crazy kids there but still some noise and commotion. She handled it like a pro. I unloaded her and left her tied to the trailer where I could see her. Just about everyone there commented on her behavior. This was her FIRST trip to any type of competition and only her third trip away from home. She was the second tallest thing there, just slightly shorter than the horse I was riding. He is 15-3. Still can't get over how she behaved.

You might want to get your saddle ready like B. A. Skipper Jr. did to ride Poco Lena ..>>
..He had a seat belt attached to his saddle to hold him securely to Poco Lena at cutting contests .. lol ...
Read first paragraph on page 108 ... this entire article is a very true factual account of Poco Lena ... dam to Doc O Lena and Dry Doc ... who changed the style of cutting and started the Doc Bar dynasty ... after clicking the link ... click open for PDF slow download .... and scroll down to page 108 for seat belt comment ..... >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Yes, I do need to get my camera out. She does not look so great right now because she has been at the trainer and his feed scoop is not as big as mine. She has been home about 5 weeks and does look a lot better. Will get picks ASAP. Trainer loved her-- says she can fly--imagine that. She is headed to the futuries in 2016. She is a big un. |

Thank you for the B. A. Skipper, Jr. and Poco Lena information. I was just a little girl but I got to see him cutting on Poco Lena in person. His seat belt fascinated me. I remember seeing them a number of times in the Wharton arena and the Ft. Bend arena. It still gives me chills remembering it. Let me apologize to the cutters today but to me that was real cutting. I'm just an old fart. |

| B A Skipper lived about 30 miles from me. Have always felt bad about how his horses were treated when he died.
No, I will not need a seatbelt when I ride her because she will be smooth as silk ALSO she will be trained and ridden by the same person who rode my horse at the World show. SHE GETS RESULTS. When you have the talent you need to use a trainer that has the talent also. It will be a great combination. Just wait. |

| THANK YOU for the picture updates!! .. You have done a wonderful job with your training, feeding and worming program to keep up with this fast growing 2yo!!
This pretty girl has been correct on all four corners with a balanced frame since she was born. . It is always a thrill to see the indepth bloodlines in dam and sire bring out the best characteristics on Cougar babies which are needed to compete with the top barrel horses over the next 15 years.
This is what I call specialized barrelhorse breeding ...>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
( KISSYOURMONEYGOODBYE has one of the most indepth barrelracing pedigrees you will find. Biankus sire line thru Frenchmans Bogie, Jet of Honor, Frenchmans Guy, Caseys Ladylove 2X, Dash Ta Fame with added speed from Dash For Cash and the famous broodmare family of Trippy Dip TB. There are 5 NFR//PRO RODEO bloodlines all wrapped up in one filly!! Plus the mare power and speed of Leaving Memories and TimeTo ThinkRich TB.) (FB: Barrel Horseusa) HAVE YOU EVER RIDDEN A COUGAR??
I thought you would like to take a small trip down memory lane on your super nice filly and I will not mention that you have palomino filly that is a full sister to "MIA" to use as a backup at the NFR) ... lol
I agree this filly is going to glide around the barrels and cover a lot of ground with her fast gathers and smooth effortless stride ...
