Looking for information on some general horsemanship clinics in the TX , OK area. I've been riding for allotta years, learned by doing, would like some advise on general horsemanship. Suggestions on where to look for information or if anyone has attended a good one - Thanks!

Levi Olson.  He is out of Aubrey Texas, but is coming to Sapulpa, OK Sept 20 & 21 with Paul Humphrey.  It's a barrel clinic with horsemanship focus, Paul is the barrel guy and Levi is the horsemanship guy!

I hope Paul Humphrey comes back to Aberdeen, SD and brings Levi because I want to go. I've watched his videos on line and think he does a pretty nice job.
I've also always wanted to go to a Phil Haugen horsemanship clinic. I know he is down in that OK area, he might be one to call.

This will be my third Paul/Levi clinic in 2 years....Every time I go, I learn something new.  Paul has his own set of unique drills to help calm a nervous horse and also to help the finished been there  done that horse... And well I just can't say enough good things about Levi Olson!  Every time I get just "that much" better with my hand palcement, my leg cues and when you look down and notice where your hands are, then notice your horse is doing EXACTLY what you intended for it to do... its just the best feeling.. it's like "wow look at me.. I am doing it!".  Just when you think you are alone at the back of the arena practicing your hand placement... all of a sudden you hear "more outside rein" or "more leg pressure".. you are never out of Levi's sight, he is always watching to see what you might need help with.  And he is sooooo relaxed and calm and NEVER makes you feel stupid, you always feel confident with him!!!  I just love them both!

Paul will be coming back to Aberdeen this fall...not sure of the date, and possibly Levi will be coming also.

Craig Cameron.

See if you can attend one of his clinics in Bluff Dale, TX.  II have been riding with Craig for over 10 years and always make his clinics my annual vacation.  You and your horse will have a blast and learn a lot too.  In the mornings it's arena work and then trails in the afternoon.  Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions.

Is there anywhere I can get info on this?  I hate to be gone three weekends in a row... but this sounds like a something I don't want to miss!

I'm not sure if he does clinics down you way but he does have a website listing the schedule.
I go every year  that he comes to Fla. and always learn something.
