Location: Texas | Been there done that. LOL. There's a huge learning curve. Lots of "one out of the moneys" or "hit to win a check" runs… although I'm not sure I ever made it to 20 rodeos.. My horse liked to get things like pigeon fever and tear a suspensory when the getting was good. I had lots of turn outs :/. Still one of the best times in my life. I will cherish any chance to get to go to any amount of rodeos again..
I think a lot of people try to go to some, and either don't have the horse to win money, or just have bad luck. |

| Im not sure what your getting at?
Some people love and live to rodeo, its this life and passion win or lose its where they want to be.
They could be right there crying whole all summer, seasoning themselves or a horse. Or thier husband / partner could be going down the road and why not! Your already there! LoL
Besides if only the girls that won went the payout would suck ;-) |

| Sorry I didn't mean to imply you were being mean, I just didnt understand what was so alarming about it. It took me three years before I got my first pay cheque!!
Lots of people enter, but even if everybody had amazing runs they still only pay the top handful (6 usualy where I was runing) |

Location: South Central Florida | I think that's not unusual with Rodeo. Shoot, I remember long stretches at big shows in divisional racing with no checks. But a lot of Rodeo is seasoning the rider not just the horse. If someone has the money what difference does it make? I know people that have hauled to way more than 20 and almost never pull checks, but they love it and are always right there close. But hauling is a learning experience in itself. Plus it's fun |

Location: Oklahoma | I have a question about the "count": Does that number include any WPRA Approved side pots in divisional races that they attended? Or is the rodeo count strictly rodeos? |
