Elite Veteran Posts: 622 Location: Paducah, Ky	I've had this horse about two months and usually I don't have problems with anxious horses at this point they trust me. This horse is different he's wonderful super smart he isn't hot and not really spooky it's just like e has anxiety he always seems tense and nervious with me I spend lots of time just sitting in his stall spending time with him I've never had to be ugly to him he's really good and it's it's like he will jump over himself not to do something wrong maybe he has been handled ruff in the past I don't know. At this point I just wonder if a supplement would help take the edge off for him. Any and all suggestions appreciated.

boon Posts: 2	I use differnt drills to create a routine for a nervouse / blown up horses. I have found the very best results has been through giving my horses a routine outside of barrel racing or whatever sport so they know when there to preform or when it's time to relax. hope that helps ! A Somebody to Everybody Posts: 41354 Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas	I would start feeding B-1 supplement to him I have one like this, it wont work over night takes a few weeks to help, but then it wont work on all horses. But I believe in this and have been feeding it for years.

Elite Veteran Posts: 622 Location: Paducah, Ky	He is kept out most of the time but he does hate to be stalled I wondered if he had ulcers because he is really hard to get to eat. :\ I just don't know but he does not seem any more relaxed out side a stall I would also add and I could possible being to gentle but I don't think so.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 383	animal element in the zone is wonderful- it calms their belly gives focus and just takes the edge off but not the run out- u can give it about 1 hour out usually I give about 15cc before loading in the traler and 1hourbefore a run ( right at saddle time)- it works wonders but doesn't change your horse just knocks the edgey off
