Go ahead and buy yours now. It's the next big trend.  You can hang it above the  theraplate that you use to store the Forco, BOSS, and Exceed, which you keep covered with your Clinton Anderson and CSI pads. Just don't let the cord get hung up on the wide-a** Martin that doesn't fit anything.

Edited to add: Yes. I can see where this would help a horse that actually needs it. I am just poking fun at the way we all rush to buy the next big thing whether we need it or not or whether it's research based or not. You've got to admit that barrel racers are a bandwagon bunch.

Actually its not a trend and has been around for awhile.... Different companies make these for breathing treatments. They are very helpful for bleeders or horses with allergies and other respiratory issues. Also great when stalled in a barn at a race that is full of ammonia. Great product!

BAHAHAHA

You forgot the back on track 3 in 1 wraps and the magnetic blankets you have laying over the top the Martin saddle.

Oh and don't knock over that box of nasal flair strips!

Seriously though these treatments do help if you have a bleeder, bad allergies, or just regular maintenance for healthy lungs on one that is hauling hard. Can be an alternative to antibiotic therapy orally in some cases. Also, if you have one with bad allergies in the summer this can really help.

There are cheaper alternatives to the big fancy samnancy $350 unit that some barrel racers are pushing right now

Thank you, Walkin. I don't know how I forgot those!

I am thinking about buying one.  All my horses have cicatrix and thankfully the vaccine has halted the progress and throats are healing but I have one that although scoping shows he is healing, there is some loss of movement on one side of his pharynx.  I am going to do a stem cell treatment that is administered through a nebulizer.  The therapy was developed for bleeders, which he is,  and has had success with the cicatrix so vet wants to give it a try and see if it will reverse the little bit of damage done.    If it proves to be a valuable tool  and helps  and there are meds I can administer at home, I will be getting one.

Owning a mare that has bled in the past, I am very curious about them. Does anyone know of any research showing how they help a bleeder? I have two college degrees so im used to reading :)

But any experiences with this device or a similar one or where I could get a similar one?
