| Well, I knew it would come sooner rather than later but my neighbor just turned his pure bred Brahmers out to pasture that has a common fence with my horse pens. My colt from the race track just sat there and looked at them good 2 hours. Never moved! He didn't run around and fuss, just stood there, stone cold, eyes peeled open. Statue. As soon as it got dark and he couldnt see them anymore he went to eating and drinking like normal. My other horse, who I also rope on, was trying to make friends OVER the fence with them. lol I wonder how long it will take the colt to normalize with them? |

Yes I do! Its funny because at barrel races roping steers, Bulls, etc do NOT bother him. But if a tiny calf roping calf goes by, he goes Balistic. I think he sees the calves as mountain lions or something lol Oh well, will be interesting to see if I have a statue when I get home from work today. lol |

Location: Phoenix | LOL that's too funny! I had my horse stalled at a fair once and opposite his stall was a camel. He stared at it the whole night--hardly even blinked haha!!
The same horse will hang out in the corner of the pasture by the cows on the other side in the summer. I'll find him knee deep in water eating the plants in the water just chillin' with the cows on the other side. He IS a cow-horse however. |

| I tell you one thing, my colt is a catty quick mover and has a tendency to move so quick he will spring a shoe! So I put bell boots on him last night and all today! |

Location: west of East Texas | My horse pasture is surrounded on three sides by cattle. No big deal all day long, graze side by side along the fences. Put a saddle on and ride the fences ----- fire breathing, horse-eating dragons are on the other side of the fence!!!!! |

Location: Vinton, La. | Mine are raised around cattle so they see them everyday of their lives. Horse pastures are surrounded by cow pastures. Sold a yearling a few years ago and decided I needed him back when he was a four year old. Brought him home, turned him out, and he was terrified at the sight of the cows. Seriously dude? LOL Fast forward to now (two years later) and he tries to play with them. He actually has two favorite cows he eats with. Silly horses. |

| Update: Got home and my colt was fine, no sweat marks so aparently he got over it. He did stare at them for a little while but pretty much doesnt care at this point. |
