Do theses saddle run big or small? In other words, if I prefer a 14.5 in saddle, would iget the same in a Crown C?

I say they run true. Some people say when you get to a 9 gullet you need to go up half a size, I have 10's and I didn't go up a size.

All I can say is try before you buy, I love my crown c saddles

The 2014 and older the seats are different the. The 2015. Just an fyi

I had purchased a 14 1/2" in other brand names, and the same size worked in the Crown C and the FX3. They are both 8" gullets.

From my experience they are pretty true, closest things I have seen next to the Caldwells.

I have a 14.5 and I believe it fits pretty true to size.

Pretty true to size. But it sits you differently than some saddles. Make sure you try first and talk to one of the reps at Martin about how it sits you.

I've been riding in a 15" Ammerman 8 1/2" gullet .  I need a 14" in the Crown C with an 8 1/2 gullet.
I rode in a 14" with a 7 1/2 gullet and it was too small.
I tried a 14 1/2 8 1/2  and it was too big,
I bought  a 15" FX3  and it was way too big.
I would definately try one if you can.  They all sit different.  I think the gullet size has alot to do with it too.

Which do you prefer? The Crown C or the FX3?

I've had both and liked them both. For my horse's style and the way I ride I prefer the FX3. I can sit down easier in the turn with the fx3.
