| Any one heard of these bloodlines as far as the barrel pedigree goes?

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | Not for barrels but I love anything King Fritz. I was around this gorgeous buckskin in TX named Bueno Fritzi Nic. He was fun and had a great personality. I don't think you can go wrong with Doc Tom Tucker either, but I have usually seen it on the dam's side. Can't think of any stallions I have seen by him. I am not a big fan of Reminic. Only rode 2. One was great the other had a screw loose so probably not a fair judge. But the stud himself was as homely as the day was long. I have no idea where the buckskin stud I mentioned above got his looks, had to be the dam's side because he was gorgeous.
With all the King Fritz, I would say it might be a go for barrels if cow horses are your thing. |

| I haven’t heard much as far as barrel racing standouts with those bloodlines as well, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad set of papers. I agree with Wyo, I am a fan of King Fritz and to have him that close to the front is a plus for me. If the mare is athletic and of sound body and mind, I would totally take a chance on running her. Then I would probably breed her to a running or cow bred stud a few years later after she had a chance to prove herself, either in the arena or on the ranch.

| The Doc Tom Tucker and Bueno Chex (King Fritz) has always been a favored cross. Very good mined and athletic horses. I have one right now that I'm ridding and she is solid as any horse i've been on in a while. |

Location: Illinois | There's a couple king fritz horses running in my area, they don't ever break out of the 4D usually though. Not much run to them but they're pretty athletic otherwise. I had a King Fritz 2015 colt that could outrun about anything in the pasture and was super quick on his feet. He was race bred on dams side. Unfortunately he got caught in the round pen panel and cut tendon in 4 places and is now only light trail sound for life. I think he would have been decent, probably not a 1D standout but would have been a nice NBHA horse or something for someone. |

Location: Peg-Leg Julia Grimm | Another thing is, they have been preferred for reined cow horses on the west coast for a long time. Reminic and the "Chex" (by King Fritz) horses have a long history as great reined cow horses. |

| My gelding is King Fritz/Fritz Command bred on the top and he's awesome! Super cowy, HUGE stop, good minded, athletic, and he has a ton of speed. I've not put too much time on him on barrels but the speed is definitely there for it and he's hugely ratey and turny when he has been on them. My geldings bottom side does have a bit of run but it's back quite a ways, everything up close was reined cow horse bred. |

Solid foundation cutter and reiner bloodlines ...
As the old saying goes ..
"These bloodlines are not designed to out run a fat man."
One dose of speed from a race bred stallion is not going to be
able to over come the repetitive indepth cutter reiner bloodlines.
To win today requires your horse to be a
barrel hugger,
fast to gather and
be able to run 30 mph from 3rd barrel to the timer line.
To set the characteristics of a solid barrel horse pedigree you need
twice the amount of speed in each generation vs ranch horse turning
bloodlines.
