I asked my local farm store (Not a TSC, but a large chain), to give me a price on Renew Gold Senior.  They already carry Renew Gold, but not the senior.  The price they gave me was $62.99.  That seemed high, so when I was driving by a new TSC in a town about 40 miles from me I stopped in to see if they carried it.  They did, and I bought a bag for $36.99.  My local store said they'd price match it and I ordered a bag.  When I bought it last night the cashier gave me a long story about how it was only that inexpensive at the TSC because they were a new store in town and were trying to get business, and I could expect the price to go up to the $62.99 in a year.  So I'd like to hear what everyone else paying.

My local feedstore that's been in business for over 40 years has RG for 42.99 and the RG sr is almost $50 .... tractor supply has the RG for 29.99 and the sr for 35.99  huge difference... never really understood why but when I asked the feedstore, they pretty much told me to just buy it at tsc then lol! I found another feedstore that carrys bluebonnet exclusively. I dont have time to be putting up with rudeness!

Edited to add... TSC has RG in at that price for over 2 years so I doubt prices will inflate that much if at all there.

It's 34.99 at my tractor supply and usually on sale for $1-2 less. But I don't buy it anymore. I felt like I didn't really notice a difference. And the higher fat content- My horse didn't need. In fact one horse got obese on it and I was feeding him less than 1 lb.  I am switching feeds currently. I'm going with a alfalfa based pellet feed that's half the price. We'll see how that works. It's a good feed just not quite what I needed

Here in Seguin Texas, Renew Gold Senior is 36.99, Renew Gold is 34.99.

I would never pay 62.99 for a 30 LB sack of Renew Gold Senior.. But I dont use this feed anyway, but that is a crazy price of 62.99 I think.

All distribution pays the same base price for Renew Gold products. The only variation is freight, which we bill at actual cost and do not mark up. Individual feed stores may pay more if they only buy a few bags plus freight at a time vs stores that buy by the pallet or more and in doing so pay less per bag in freight which can effect their retail price. We can not legally tell a store what to sell our products for, and some mark it up a lot. Shopping pays. That said, it is usually less cost per day to feed Renew Gold than conventional grain based feeds because of the lower feed rate. If you don’t think it is worth the price, your satisfaction is guaranteed, and your purchase on your first bag will be refunded

I just paid $34.99 for a bag saturday at the local Tractor Supply. It went up $5 since I bought my last bag a month ago. My horses look amazing on it and Hayrite.

I pay $35.99 and I too noticed it jumped $5.00 a bag. Steep hike but I love the results and will keep feeding it.

I have no idea how Tractor Supply sets their price. Here in Willows CA it is $34.95 for Original Renew Gold, and $38.95 for Senior, and has been for two years. We have not raised our price to distribution for four years, but freight has sure gone up.

The regular RG is now 34.99 at our tractor supply stores. They hiked it up from 29.99 a little while ago. Wasn't happy with that... but love the stuff for the horses, so will keep getting it. Good thing about tsc is the neighbors club. If you are a member you can get 10% off every quarter and sometimes you get coupons through email for 15% off. Thats usually when I get my RG.
They other feed stores around have always been between 35 and 40 a bag.
