Opinions please. I have a mare and can't decide which horse to breed to that will cross the best - Chasin Firewater or Blazin Jetolina. I have been going back and forth and need to make a decision soon. My mare is A Regal Rose by A Regal Choice out of a

She can be a little goofy to ride but all business on barrels and can turn hard and is very fast. Want something that won't throw anything too hot. Thanks

I have no experience with BJO, but I did cross a good TB mare of mine on Chasin and got a gorgeous, smart little baby.

Statisticaly a BJO foal should earn you more money. He would aslo be my choice for your mare.

I love my BJO filly shes only a weanling though but very easy to handle. He is one of my favorite sires. He puts such a cool turning style on his babies. Both studs are nice though I would just see how each compliments your mare Confo wise and go from there :

I second this, especially on a mare that's a little hot minded.

I have two by BJO and I know of a couple more that friends own. Love love love them!!! He throws a very consistent style. They're easy to ride and train. I'm working on having a whole trailer full of them :

I am a bigger fan of BJO than I am of Chasin but I like them both! I really like both of their pedigrees but I think the BJOs are really making their mark right now. Chasin will as well, I don't think you could go wrong with either.

Tough call...both are proven performers and producers. I think their stud fee is the same and both have foals with good re-sale values.

Original Bit Gerk
I own a couple of both and have ridden some of both. On your particular mare I'd say BJO....chasin can throw some heat.
