Does anybody feed it? I was talking to our local feed store lady and she spoke very highly of it. I like what I feed now but am always curious about different feeds.
here's a link to their website

It's a fat supplement. It's basically rice bran with some probiotics. It helps with weight gain for sure! I have fed it in the past.

Good to know! I feed satin finish when I feel like I need a rice bran supplement but sometimes it's hard to find around here. How much of the empower did you feed?

Great stuff. Used it on a few hard keepers.

Have you guys noticed if it helped their skin and coat? I don't have hard keepers but do have a few that suffer from dry skin from time to time.

I use to feed it to a hard keeper and it worked well but I have since switched to Nutrena XTN which works amazing for very hard keepers. Like someone else said, Empower Boost is basically a great quality rice bran. That being said, the the oils in it do help coat etc. but I wouldn't feed it just for that. You might want to try the Empower Balance instead of the Boost. Great feed for non-hard keepers. Just my personal experiences though!

I have used it for about 4 months, but not for fat suupliment but for what it has in it. I like the way my horse looks on it. He is a palomino and in the winter he looses his golden hair but this year he got a little lighter but not near as lighter as he usually does.

Good to know, I might pick up a bag next time I run out of satin finish because like I said earlier it's a lot more available around here than the SF

I've had good results with it when I bought a couple horses that were underweight. Got teeth done, fed empower and senior, and they fattened right up!
