So my mare is a true black and I bred her to a black stud, not sure if he is true black. She finally had him this morning after going a month over but he came out an unexpected color. He is sorrel with pink skin and his tail is dark in the middle and white on the outsides. Will their feet stay the same color as when they are born? He looks like he has white feet. :( What color do you think he will end up?

Sorrel. The pink skin will fade away in a week or two. Congrats!
Just wanted to add that these were your color options....

93.75% - Black
6.25% - Red (Chestnut/Sorrel)

Could he end up a dark chestnut or are they more pinkish when born? That is my favorite color. Anyone know about the feet?

Time will tell as far as the color goes. In my opinion, he will stay sorrel but its hard to assume. All foals are born with soft hooves so they dont hurt the mare during birth. Light colored foals (sorrels, chestnuts, palominos, etc.) are typically born with light hooves and dark colored foals (bays, blacks, etc.) are typically born with dark hooves. Also, they are initially covered with a coating that will flake off after a day or so. The hooves will soon harden and take a more normal shape.  Give it a few weeks and you will start to notice the black hoof growth near the coronet band. That will continue to grow downward until the hoof is completely black or white if a leg marking is present.

Photo bleary ..
Right rear appears to have a sock and left rear might have an anklet .. tuff to see that foot ......... the front legs are gonna be red ...

Ordinarily .. if you have to ask if it is going to be white ... it will NOT be white ... white is very distinctive to me ...

His feet won't be white. If he has a white sock that foot might be white

Those color calculator things crack me up. With 2 black parents, that both carry a red gene, you have a 25% chance of a red baby. There is no way to know what shade of red he will be until he is a yearling. The first time a baby sheds, (as a suckling/weanling) is not always their "final" color.
