Location: on my horse | I just got a juicer and am needing some recipes that aren't super nasty tasting. Does anybody have any they would like to share? Or just have some words of encouragement This thing is big, loud, and kind of intimidating haha |

| 2 Kiwi, One Green Apple, 1 Celery Stalk, and a large handful of Spinach and a large handful of Kale.
There is a Juicing App by Joe Cross that has lots of recipes too. He also has a fb page! His documentary Fat Sick and Nearly Dead is on Netflix and is very inspirational. Both my husband and I juice and my Mom lost some weight just by Juicing for Breakfast. Good Luck!

| Using higher quanitiy of sweet fruit on all of the mixes is the key.. Banana, oranges, kiwi, strawberries, blueberries, and the like. Frozen fruits work great for smoothies. With the plain juicers you may have to let them thaw first. |

| I juice regularly and one of my favorites is apple / carrot with a small piece of ginger root. (very small). I also like grapefruit, rasberry, celery. Celery , cucumber, apple , lime is also good. |

Location: on my horse | I meal prepped for the entire week and made up some off of the joe cross website, and the ones that you guys mentioned.. I'll tell you all what I think after I drink a few . One juice glass is more veggies than I eat all week usually so this is a major change lol |

Location: on my horse | Alison hahahahaha and I just picked up a 30 dollar one from walmart I figured it was good enough to get me going and not so expensive that if I decided I didn't like juicing or decided not to keep up with it I wasn't out a huge amount of investment. |

| I had a juicer and cleaning that thing was ridiculous. Used it about 3 times. I just bought a VITAMIX. Super easy to clean, put water in it and turn it on. You get all the benefits of the skin and pulp like vitamins and fiber. Use it daily. It is the bomb. AND IT MAKES GREAT MARGARITAS TOO. |

| A vitamix is not a juicer..it is a blender.....same as a nutri-bullet. I use both. I have my Omega Juicer which I LOVE....easy, easy to clean so therefore its easier to use and I have the nutri-bullet. I rotate during the week. The nutri-bullet or vitamix will give you the entire vegetable/fruit...which includes all the pulp. Good for you yes...but slower to go through your digestive system. The juicer will extract just the juice and is absorbed quickly into your system because it doesn't have the fiber. I have always felt that a good combination of both is an excellent source of nutrition. I don't use recipes that often...I just go by trial and error..you discover quickly what is very strong and will really change the taste of your juice..like ginger, beats, celery...etc.......
The Omega juicer is expensive..around $260 I think, but worth every penny..the Vitamix is very expensive..the nutri-bullet only $99 bucks. All are great investments in your health. I have been juicing now for three years and I have noticed a huge difference in my over all health. Happy juicing! |
