Who would you breed these two mares to? Can be barrel or race stallions. Foal will be sold so sale value is essential. Appreciate the help :)

Really like the Stoli mare. Resale value as a barrel horse your best bet would be DTF, Frenchmans Guy, or Tres Seis are the ones that go super high.
The other mare go race bc of the Chicks Beduino.

It always amazes me at the common core attitude barrel racers have towards Beduino, Chicks Beduino, Separatist, This Snow Is Royal, Dashing Cleat or the new kid on the block Inseperable bloodlines regardless where they lay in the overall pedigree.
In their next breath are oohhhing and aahhhing over Game Patriot, Royal Quick Dash, Royal Shake Em, Furyofthewind, A Regal Choice or Corona Cartel ... lol

I have owned own daughters and sons along with working with friends who owned sons and daughters to ever find a bad actor amongst them!! ...
They are kind, people friendly and will work their hearts out for you while remaining sound, super barrel horse conformations and look mighty good doing their jobs.

I'm not sure if it is lack of horsemanship, fear of speed and fast hard turns or certain people just have to dislike something ..??

I loved the choice made by the first poster on the thread and the choice they made ... must be the common core math kicking in ....

Here is the first choice made .. and liked ...
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/shining+stoli
Now step thru this well bred mares pedigree with me ..
Double Beduino in the 3rd generation (will be a 4th generation to a foal)
50% Beduino to Strawberry Silk and Beda Cheng
25% moves top and bottom to Stoli and Shining Guitar
Beduino moves 25% from two directions to Shining Stoli
who ends up with a double barrel of 25% Beduino genetics

tHis is the one that got dissed ...
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/havanna+honey
Havanna Honey will end up with 25% Chicks Beduino
OR Havanna Honey will end up with 12.5% Beduino
The baby will be only 12.5% and 6.75% respectively
And what a shame when this mares sire is the sire to the great Corona Cartel ..

Mysteries will never cease ...

OP: Breed for color from well known producing bloodlines ...
and everything will work out fine!!

I too wonder this exact same thing!!!

I would go with a Tres Sies on the Holland Ease mare...

On the Stoli mare I would go with a Runaway Winner or Streakin Six bred stallion with some old Depth Charge/Three Bars up close on the dam side throwed in....

In Mollibtexan's instance, it is sure NOT a lack of horsemanship.

I think it comes down to how much time do you want to spend on the horse. A horse that is constantly thinking FORWARD is usually not the best at "getting it" to rate and turn.  Believe me, I've had some nice race bred horses that made barrel horses - one right now is by Prime Time Dream o/o a Fols Native mare.  She is an athlete but I don't know how long she'll hold it together.  Her attitude is constantly sitting on "go".

For the best crosses on the above mares, I'd think about BHR Frenchies Socks, Frenchmans Fabulous, A Smooth Guy, maybe Shawne Bug Leo.

I love the race bred mares bred to something to even out that go, go, go.

I agree with some of what is said above. I have ridden a large vareity of breeding over the years and recently I have been riding straight race horses- off the track all running bred. I am not riding 30 a day and I have the time and paitence to put into one which makes a diffenerce. When you are breeding to resale on a barrel horse level you have to almost think what is going to be easy because the majority doesnt put the time into one horse and they want it to train itself. It actually amazes me that the FG is lumped into that because for the most part they are not easy horses but they are natural barrel horses-its easy for them. Dash Ta Fames are not easy horses BUT they are natuaral barrel horses for the most part. I have NO issues with Chicks Beduino, we actually crossed 2 daughters on our Mr Jess Perry son.  Do I look for them to be futurity stand outs in a big names barn at some point, no because they dont have the time to put into one that requires it, that goes for the race horse world as well, there are some great horses out there that dont run because they require someone to invest some TIME in them.
We just left our Runaway Winner daughter at Hart Farms to be bred to Stoli this morning. We will run it at the track and God lord willing it will run out so much money I wont get the chance to make a barrel horse out of it BUT if that doesnt happen I will happliy ride that one.
I am currently riding a Kipas Speical out of a Lanes Leinster/ Proudest Effort mare, she has more talent than any horse I have ever ridden. I would have love to run her as a 5 yr old futurity horse this year but I refuse to ask her for more than she is ready to give me. She can exhibition half second off with ease but the atmosphere at a new place washes her out, so until she tells me that a new place is no big deal I will keep hauling her and exhibitioning her and sitting in the middle of 100 team ropers swing ropes up her butt and  when its all no big thing anymore we go run some barrels. AGAIN I have the TIME to "Waste" on the things that the don't matter to most in a fast track program.

Back to the original question, if you dont have a strong blacktype pedigree dont waste your  money trying to raise a race horse find something to goes both ways or something that is a straight barrel type horse. There are a ton of studs out there, look at your mare and pick some that conformationly is going to compliment your mares and take the breeding in as 2nd.  We raise race horses with crossing over into the arena being an after thought. I love our race bred horses, you can teach a fast horse to rate but you cant make a slow horse fast :

Not everyone is going to have the same opinion as you.....you have to understand that people have PERSONAL experiences with a certain bloodline and will derive their opinion based on the horses mindset, performance, ETC......which leads to the either good or bad opinions of a bloodline.

I have some I like, and others I dont, vice versa with EVERYONE. goodness.

Wut? Lack of horsemanship..fear of speed or hard fast turns?? Do you know who you're addressing? She's the queen of speed and hard fast turns...and not too shabby on horsemanship either.....

Wow. Way to answer the actual question the OP asked. You didn't answer (except to say "breed for color"), all you did was trash a well known barrel racer for her suggestions and question her ability to ride, fear of speed and make underhanded comments about her mental capacity. Classy. But then again, you have shown so much class over the years when you finally show your true colors.

To the OP, if you are breeding for race, you need to look at how each mare will catalog black type wise. Race people aren't interested in a pedigree that doesn't catalog well. The mare that goes back to Sizzlin Lil on the maternal side might look okay. You would also want to think about the cost in having the foal fitted to sell if you are wanting to go with a race sale. If you are serious about breeding for the track, subscribe to Speedhorse and get their stud book. It lists the average prices for all the yearlings sold at the major race sales. A lot of who you should breed to depends on what you want to spend. The Capo De Capi's sold pretty well for his stud fee. Ivory James did decent. The Corona Cartel sons are what people want. You would just have to decide if you want to go that direction if you decide to go race.

Breeding for the barrel pen in a little easier. I agree with mollibtexan that DTF, FG, Tres Seis are the big price tags and they would all work on your mares. But they are all expensive stud fee wise. A lot of people are really liking Shawnee Bug Leo, Frenchmans Fabulous, FWOTR, but a lot of them are already booked full. Again, it really depends on what price range you are looking into stud fee wise.

I personally like straight race. But if you have a straight race bred you want to take to the barrel pen, you need a bloodline that is known to want to rate and turn. Something like Bully Bullion, DTF. The pedigrees you posted are very nice. But there isn't a lot of rate in them. So you need to think about a sire known for that if you are wanting to go the barrel route.

I guess I didn't do a very good job of answering your question either, lol! Give me a price range, the way you are leaning as far as track or barrel pen goes and I'll try to answer your question better.

if breeding for the barrel pen, iId like to see some FWF, FG, Sun Frost type breeding crossed on these mares.  I just saw an ad on here that Firecracker Fire is standing to the public for the first time this year. BHR Fenchies Socks or PC Frenchmans Hayday.  Or maybe one of Firewater Fiesta's sons.  I'm not an expert, just throwing out my ideas.
