| I've been allergic to peanuts... anything peanut related for my entire life! It seems to have gotten worse, more sensitive as I've gotten older...can't be in the same room as someone eating it. And within the last few years I've developed an intolerance to soy.. sucks |

| This!!! Long story short, after eating Keto for a month I started breaking out in hives all OF THE TIME. Was miserable. My sinus allergies also were worse they had ever been, even when taking meds! I think Keto changed my hormones and that caused increased sensitivity to foods I had never been sensitive to before.
I went to food allergy specialist, I'm allergic to dogs/horses/dustmites/pecans lol
But I noticed avocadoes and coconut oil make my sinuses terrible so I avoid them now too. |

Location: Slipping down the slope of old age. Boo hoo. | In my late 50s I developed adult asthma. Ugh. And overall allergies worsened. I take the generic of Singulair -- has made a HUGE difference for me -- got everything under control. I currently do not require an inhaler -- and I did at first. |

Location: sunny california | i used to have terrible allergies. I have none now. i had to get my adrenal insuffiency and low thyroid treated. I also had to go to a controlled carb diet. I use beet smoothies to cleanse and take my meds and no more allergies or hives. |

Me! I had minor allergies as a kid/teen (mostly grasses and a few trees and flowers). At 20 I became allergic not only to peanuts but ALL nuts and most seeds. Never had a problem with that growing up. After that I became crazy allergic to metals, ALL metals (I can't even wear platinum, surgical steel is a big no, no too). I even have problems taking multi-vitamins that have certain metals in them. NEVER was allergic to metal before about 20ish. At about 22, I became gluten intolerant. I have other allergies now too but the above three are huge ones that I never had before.
If someone has the answer or reason why this happened, I'm dying to hear it! |

I would look into methylation problems and see if you have problems there. that can cause sensitivities. |

That's funny...I just started a nutritional class yesterday and the instructor was talking about how she'd been learning a lot about methylation. I'll ask her more next week. |
