Location: Tom, Oklahoma | I'm never too far away.......NJJ came and got me! lol Where to begin? Life has changed so much for us all here since that day in Feb. 2011. It will be 4 years and and Ryon has really done well. He does not have full use of his hands, but can get on the computer and play games, etc. He can also cook for himself, get own drinks, etc. So as far as quads go, he is King Kong! His attitude is "ok".......he has good days and bad days. He was a RN before so his complete understanding of his stituation has really helped us. We converted our garage to his room.....it is around 400sq foot so he has a lot of room. I do believe that with time his attitude will get better and he will learn to live again. Thank you all for your love, support and prayers! All of you here at BHW helped us thru a very difficult and trying time in our lives and will always be appreciated!

Thank you for keep us in your thoughts and prayers! I talk to Glorygirl pretty often. Chancey's wreck was 7 days after Ryon's so we have been thru a lot together. Chancey is doing good and learning to drive. :D |

Glad your son has improved some.
My brother is a parapalegic, has been now for 9 years. I remember the rehab team saying it takes an individual 5 years to succumb to their injuries then begin to move on.
It was 5 years to the week where I could see the attitude change.
