I don't get on here very much anymore.  Not that I have to remind the friends I have made on here about my surgery and all.....but I will say AGAIN thank you to each and every one of you for your support!!!  I am 9 weeks post surgery.  Saw my surgeon last Monday and got the go ahead to resume all normal activities.  Even riding, running, and intimacy with my poor husband (which we actually did attempt but it didn't go so well, apparently my body just needs more time to heal).

Anyways......you guys were all right.  I am only 9 weeks out and I can already tell it was the best decision ever.  I am so excited about the future.  I may still have complications with my colon, but we still have options down the road.

Anyways....back to the Lion.....one thing that has kept me in a good mood the last 11 months is the lion cub that Missroselee is baking for me right now.  She is due in the next 3-4 weeks :)

3-4 weeks based on vets prediction when she was AIed.  MY prediction is another 1-2 weeks :)  She started bagging up last week but isn't near full yet.  It's crazy though because to me and everyone else she us HUGE.  But she just moseys around like everything is normal.  I haven't seen her roll in a few days but she lays down every night like normal (I can tell by her stall).  She got really mean for a while but about a week ago turned into a sweetheart so I think she is going to go early.

If she is due in 3-4 weeks and is bagging up, please check her for mastitis. Two different vets have said they have never seen so much mastitis. My mare is due Apr 22. We are working hard to get her cleated up before she foals, it is not easy.

Get well soon!!!

I can understand why you did AI if you bred her to a lion. I doubt she would have responded well to a live cover..

She's barely bagging up and thus far everything is within what is normal for her.

Glad you're feeling better!  I don't get on here or FB very much anymore, but I have been following your surgery and all.   You'll be 120% before you know it!

Rose looks GREAT!  I bet you're excited....i'm excited to see what she has!!

I'm breeding my mare for the first time (her and me) this year, and i'm already a nervous wreck!!
