 I Want a "MAN"
Location: MD | I've aquired a horse that seems to have navicular. I'm planning on getting him xrayed to see the severity. He's barefoot right now. How do you manage it? Isoxuprine, bute, previcox, feed etc? Thanks in advance! |

| Good shoeing: NEVER miss a reset, osphos, previcox (only the week of 3 day shows or hard runs), legend the weekend of: we normally do 5 hrs out, and regular vet trips to ensure everything is on the up and up. |

Location: Central Texas | Regular quality farrier work. I really pay attention to the ground/footing I work him on. Always turned out. Depending on what type of navicular issue, Osphos or Tildren may be an option. I have done both. |

 Vodka for Lunch
Location: Lala Land | shoes every 6 weeks, previcox, isoxuprene, Adequan. I fed Equibone for a year & half just had xrays done and there was no change. I've heard a lot of people say it has worked great for theirs, but just didn't work for mine.
ETA: We are also injecting. The first time we injected we did coffin & bursa. 6 months later coffin only, he did good for 9 months and was a little off on the right front injected coffins again.

I've never had equip-bone work. Numerous horses and no changes to any... |

Location: North Dakota | A great farrier and regular re-sets at 6 weeks. We also wedged mine two weeks ago, along with an injection, and that made a huge difference in his movement. We are hoping to not have to inject again, rather manage it with previcox from here out, but he was so sore we had to do something. |

Location: Post Falls, ID | I have a question about hoof growth on a navicular horse. My shoer was resetting every 6 weeks but my gelding doesnt have much growth to be resetting. What can I do to promote more growth? Thanks |

 Vodka for Lunch
Location: Lala Land | My vet said even if you have to rasp the toe b/c there isn't enough to trim for me to stay on the 6 week sched. I've had a farrier tell me to give a biotin supplement, but it takes like 90mg per day for it do any good. My horse doesn't grow much and has very thin soles. |

| maybe try this for growth. I just started this supplement but for the price I'm liking this one supplement with the gelatin and biotin, its very cost effective.

Location: Iowa, LA | Barefoot with WEEKLY rasping and 4 week trims got my boy sound. No supplements or injections, but do give Adequan. I boot on hard ground or when I've been aggressive pulling back heels/toes. |
