If you haven't heard about it check it out at www.bucklesandbarrels4bailey.com. Did I mention this is held at the South Point Arena? You never even have to go outside! Pool, spa, bar, restuarants, you name it! It is on Labor Day weekend this year!!
This event was set up by a friends of mine to give back to the NICU unit that saved their daughters life. It is a barrel race BUT all proceeds go to a charity set up to give back to them!
This year their are doing a side pot that is AMAZING, they have qualifiers all over the west coast and if you have only four qualifiers and enter the open all three days your entry fee is only $15 to run for $5500 with 100% payback.
The entry form, sponsor info AND vendor info are all on the website!
FYI: Please help me get the word out that you do not have to qualify to run in the open race at Buckles and Barrels for Bailey. The only race that requires a qualification is the sidepot that will take place on Sunday.

Location: sunny california | I went to the first one and it was so much fun and the people were so incredibly nice and helpful. I haven't been able to go back because of the timing. Labor day weekend is the finals for WCBRA and they expect to have about 100,000 added plus prizes |

| I was bummed it is on Labor weekend but I totally understand why. My sister has gone three years in a row and something has always prevented me from getting to goo with her. I was really hoping this was the year. Oh well, maybe next year!

(MUST MEET AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR YOUTH AND SENIOR)THE ONLY RACE YOU HAVE TO HAVE 4 QUALIFIERS FOR IS THE SIDEPOT ON SUNDAY WHICH IS A CARRYOVER FROM THE OPEN.

Peewees will run after the open , youth and senior classes will follow.
Calcutta bidding begins 30 minutes after the last runner. All proceeds from the Calcutta this year will go to the Wounded Warrior Fund!
Sunday, September 6th 2015-
SHOW US YOUR FAITH!!
Open race starts at 8am, youth and senior classes follow the open. "Take the Money and Run" side pot will run in conjunction with the open.
I have been told there will be a Military Appreciation Day again this year! |

I agree! Where else can you go to a barrel race and NEVER have to worry about the weather, have bowling, movie theater, spa, fitness center, pool . . . and NEVER have to leave??!!! |

I know that it's hard for a lot being Labor Day weekend but they are at the mercy of when they can get the arena! Hopefully you can make it next year! It is a blast and the people involved arre top notch! |

Location: My Own Little World | We have run in all but the first one and we will do this race over so many others simply because of the way the producers promote an atmosphere of caring. Really like the fact that it's on a holiday weekend this year. Really makes it feel like a vacation. The payouts are really good plus all the side things that make it so fun. |
