My husband had been eyeing some of the different Driftwood programs and we are seeking some thoughts.

Is anyone familiar with Memory Ranches of Idaho? In particular, a stallion named Driftwood Stetson?

And also there is MP Thriftwood at the Potter Ranch.

Thoughts in regards to comparing stallions. Which one has a better resale? An input appreciated. Thanks!

I don't think you can go wrong with Thriftwood. He has proven himself. And Mel is the best to deal with.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Driftwood bred horses. We have 2. Personally I would go with MP Thriftwood... or take a look at the Cowan's. They've crossed Lone Drifter on their Sun Frost daughters and vice versa... Sun Frost on Lone Drifter daughters... talk to Mightybroke or Whiteboy too... I can tell you from experience... the Driftwood/Sun Frost horses are like crack.... they're a hard habit to break!!!!! Here's a picture of my Lone Drifter/Sun Frost mare... (sorrel) and the buckskin is our 28% Driftwood gelding.

For resale I would say MP Thriftwood because of the promotion behind him.

I have always loved MP Thriftwood. I hope one day to have one of his colts.  We have a 3 yr old Driftwood/Zan Parr Bar colt that we just love!

I got a filly that originally came from Potters (Dinero x Driftwood/racebred mare)....absolutely love her.  If they are all as nice as she is I'm a total believer.  IMO I would say MP Thriftwood would have better resale but I think there are plenty of Driftwood fans out regardless of which you choose.

Thank you everyone! He already owns one and would LOVE to have another. Would you critique a couple of different sets of papers for me?

I personally like the Myrtlewood Thrifty based on pedigree alone. But, I prefer a higher percentage Driftwood myself.
