Illinois Barrel Bash
Anyone going? I am thinking about late entering but does the Open 4D start at noon on saturday?
ETA will they be doing exhibitions after Open race on Saturday and before the glow race?

Going! Just hope the bar doesn't hurt me
LOL
I think its going to be a pretty good sized show and I doubt they'd even have time to de exhibitions after. Pretty sure they'll stick to the schedule.

I think expos are first then they go Youth, NBR qualifier, Open, which should start around 1p. I think they may run some expos after Open and before the Glow in the Dark race is why the ??? mark is there. If you join the event on Facebook and ask for an update mid morning, I can try to tell you where they are at?

I don't think they had the expos last year.
I will be going this year, but just to watch. I ran last year and it was well run. I would expect a big show, as others have said.

They have well over 200 pre entered for Saturday so you would be an add on and have plenty of time to get there I am sure. I think I run 148 on Friday and 149 on Saturday

Well I emailed the gal that is putting it on and she allowed me to sign up over email as a late entry! Which is great cuz i will probably arrive right at the 100 draw cut off! She was very easy to work with! Already loving how this show is run!
Thank you everyone for your help and advice!

All of her shows are awesome. Hence the reason some of us haul well over 5 hours one way to attend.

I really wish I could run there this weekend. I was impressed last year. I agree that they are really well done. The buckles this year are beautiful!

At any Barrel Bash event, you can plan on them running 50 horses per hour.
(In smaller pens, she has run as fast as 60 horses per hour.
) Barrel Bash events are all run on time and according to schedule.
