I feed a 10% high oat with minimal molasses sweet feed that already has a mineral in it so I can't feed the DAC supplement with vitamin K on top of it, so I'm looking for something that is specifically formulated to strengthen lungs for my bleeder as a daily supplement. I have tried the oxygen products before and wasn't totally impressed either, what else is there out there that's somewhat affordable too! Thanks everyone

Have you tried the new Pozzi Bleed X? I have a friend who has a horse that bleeds through anything. She uses Bleed X and he isn't bleeding. Per scope.

THE Lung Function. It does have a 45 day money back guarantee.  Here is the description for it
ung Function is formulated to provide the necessary precursors that will allow the horse’s own ability to heal the damage and focus nutritional support on lung function for the proper regulation of pulmonary pressure within the lungs, while increasing elasticity in the capillaries. Lung Function formula is best used for support for coughs, mild breathing issues, and lung function.

I have a mare that was bleeding through 10 cc's of Lasix.  I had planned to retire her because of it.  Someone asked me where she was and I told them she was done because I couldn't control her bleeding.  She told me about dynamite specialty products.  I decided to give them a try and I am glad that I did.  I fed her Hiscorbadyne daily and for the first 30 days I gave her a dropper full of Trace Minerals.  When I started competing again (after 45 days) I also put her on the TNT as well.  She went back to running in the 1D and going in the gate with no problems.  She also did not bleed.  Because I beleived in the products based on our sucess I did become a distributor.  Here is the website:

Please let me know if you have any questions-I would be happy to answer them.

Β Big Dee's tack has one I swear made a huge diff in my bleeder & I've prob tried them all, lol....it's Vit K with Hesperion. Sorry for spelling, lol...its also cheap! If your bleeder is allergy related, another good product IMO is the Platinum Allergy support. It helps maintain correct histamine levels. It is not so cheap, but good. Just a fee things that has helped us n our bleeder battle. It can sure be a frustrating one to deal with.

Yes, the new Bleed X by Oxygen is stronger. How much lasix are you using? If your horse uses a lot, you most likely wont get off lasix completely, but can significantly reduce the amount of lasix. You have to use to complete bleeder program though. Bleed X daily, Oxygen 2X daily which increases lung capacity and strengthens capillaries and Race X paste pre race.

My mare is,a silent bleeder. Doesn't Bleed out but if scoped after a run there is blood in lungs. I feed the oxymax and before runs the jailbreak GI and give lasix. What else should I add?

Yes, thats how mine was too. You definitely need to be on bleed X daily. And before runs give Race X or OxyO2 to help open up the lungs.

You would probably be amazed at how many "silent bleeders"
There are out there!
