Location: Southwest Minnesota | A little over a year ago on June 5,2016 my daughter, Gabbie, was involved in a car accident that nearly ended her life. She spent 37 days at Sanford hospital in Sioux falls SD, 4 months at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, Ne and 6 months at QLI, another intense rehab facility in Omaha, Ne. She finally discharged to home on May 10th. She had a fat Appaloosa that she barrel races on prior to the accident. After the accident we purchased her an old, been there, done that Western Pleasure broke gelding. Gabbie did horse riding therapy at QLI since January but I wanted to share the video of her first ride at home, on her new gelding, Joker. She is the true definition of Cowgirl Tough and I'm so proud of her!
