Location: North Dakota | A girl who boarded at my barn tried it a few years ago for her horse. She couldn't get the horse to eat it. She gave it to another girl at my barn whose horse eats anything and everything...and that horse wouldn't eat it either. ETA: the girl who originally bought it went back to calf manna for her horse.

| If I could get it locally, all my horses would be on it. We used to feed it years ago when we lived in PA. When we moved to Va, we couldn't get it. My gelding pretty much crashed. Didn't found out for a while later it was because he had pssm type 2, and we were unknowingly feeding him for it already with the pro add. I have him on triple crown 30% right now, but I still don't think he looks as good as he did when he was on the pro add. |

Location: Florida | I've never heard of it until our local feed store started carrying it and naturally they are saying horses love it and owners are impressed with the results. Thank you both for taking time to respond. |

Location: Illinois | I haven't used the ProAdd, but I use several other Progressive products and I like them. My horses all look good I think. I just switched my 24 year old over to Progressive and he is looking better, my 3 year old looks nice even in her awkward growing phase right now, and my 18 year old looks like he's 10 still. I had a nutrition expert come evaluate mine and we developed a feeding program based on their needs and Progressive fit the requirements the best. Progressive has been more expensive for me to feed, but works the best for them I think so far. I think it depends on what you want to use this supplement for, if it's just for an all around boost I think its ok, but if you're wanting weight gain it's not the best choice. |

Thank you for the info. If I were to use it, it would be for an all around boost and not weight gain. |

Location: Illinois | The ProAd Grass Diet Balancer would also be something to consider, it's got a lot of the minerals and vitamins they need and less protein. Feeding too much protein can be counterproductive, just like in people. The Grass formula is still 30% protein. That's all my senior eats is 1.5lbs of that a day plus about 4oz of the Envision and he stays looking nice and gets more nutrition from that than he was getting from a complete feed. |

Location: Texas!! | I love it. I have a 17 yr old that just never really had a good top line. I let some one take him for 45 days to try him for their daughter. They didn't buy him, but he came back looking amazing!! The pro add is what they had him on. So now I feed it to 5 of my 9 horses. |

Location: Where Tall Corn Grows | I've feed Pro-Add Ultimate for at least 3-4 years now. I have seen a very noticeable difference in the top lines on the horses. It's fed to 2 year old up to 21 year old horses. I top dress it on the 8 oz's of Renew Gold and MVP Magnesium twice a day. They all look and feel really good. They also are fed good quality alfalfa hay. |
