I made our dogs a nice warm meal yesterday for their Christmas dinner!
It had everything from turkey to dressing with potatoes and the turkey drippings all mixed in with everything! Heated it up on the stove for them in a big pot! lol

10 lbs raw hamburger -more fat better if you have a thin dog or one you want to show
10 cups cooked rice
18 hard boiled eggs mashed up with shells on
2 cups fidovite
Mix all ingredients together then roll or press into serving size balls.
I use a large ice cream scoop
(1/2 cup
) to scoop portions on a cookie sheet then put into freezer.
Once froze, remove from cookie sheet and put into ziplock freezer bags.
Twice a week I remove enough balls from the freezer and put in the fridge to feed 1 ball x2 day.
(Small dog 1/4 scoop x2 day- larger dog 1/2 cup x 2 day. Shepherd size 1 cup x2 day.
Feed more or less according to your dogs need. You can add oil for added fat.

LOL, I'm with you, I hardly have time to cook a meal for me and hubby and I HATE cooking so we eat out alot . I cant picture myself cooking for my dogs, LOL. My grand parents use to cook for their dogs all the time when I was a little girl.

I just started doing this for my dog. I do the crockpot meals. I donβt really use a recipe just throw a bunch of stuff in there and switch up my meats. If there is something in my freezer I want to use i throw that in.
Boneless skinless chicken thighs
Frozen carrots
Frozen green beans
Frozen broccoli
Can of kidney beans
2 cups brown rice
2 apples cored
Coconut oil
2 eggs including the shells

For dogs, egg shells are an excellent source of calcium. I have a couple older dogs on the recipe I posted above and also use it to boost body condition on the ones we show. You can add whatever supplement you want but with fido vite you shouldn't really have to. The shells can be ground up into a powder or you can buy egg shell powder. I always boil my eggs as I worry about salmonella poisoning. You could use pasteurized eggs though. I would guess the nutrition value would be better than boiling them.
