Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | What other feed companys (not Standlee) makes hay pellets like Timothy pellets. If I have to pay 22.94 for 40lbs of Standlee hay pellets I would at least like 50 lbs for that amount of money, lol.. I get my Pelleted Alfalfa pellets from Bluebonnet and hay cubes from another source, but the hay pellets like Timothy is harder for me to find so was wondering if any other feed companys have them. | Mountain sunrise makes a great hay pellet. Zero binder too. My feedstore carries the alfalfa pellets and my horses do very well on them. Their website says they have straight timothy pellets as well. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | Thanks want2chase3, I looked into the brand you suggested but dont see that brand in my area, darn it!!! I wish more feed companys made hay pellets, the pellets are very slim pickens and thats a shame since alot of people really like feeding them. Standlee is a good feed but dang sure do wish they were 50 lbs not the 40 lbs, and another thing too TSC dont keep alot in stock so your lucky if you can get any kind of hay pellets from them at all, well at least thats the way it is here.. |

| I hear ya! I sure do like the mountain sunrise.. I never heard of them either until I asked for a bag of pellets one day from my feed store. Figured it'd be some janky off brand lol much to my surprise these were really nice! I had always used the standlee too and thought the same, 50lb bags please!!! I was going to ask my feed store if they'd get the mountain sunrise in timothy but when I went in today, I saw they are now offering Standlee timothy pellets and their chopped hay products too. Ah well. |

Ahhh Ok, forgot about the Dumor, I did know they made hay cubes but never seen hay pellets. The thing about Dumor hay cubes is they use a binder for the cubes and not a fan of binders.. I like it when they use steam to bind the cubes or pellets. I know Standles uses a binder, but its a different type of binder I was told so they are not as hard, they are a bit softer cube/pellet with the binder they use. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | Got to thinking so wanted to make sure and looked up Producers Pride, Producers Pride is TSC's house brand and made by Purina not the Dumor brand, the Dumor is owned by a private lable company. Producers Pride is the Trademark of Tractor Supply Company.. So just wanted to say since I got a bit confused as to what was TSC's house brand so wanted to clear that up for me and wanted to share with you guys. |
