sodapop - 2013-12-06 2:19 PM Pecan  Molly Powell's horse.  I would assume the horse has passed because it seems like a lifetime ago they were at the NFR together.
not sure about Pecan, but she has 2 babies that are doing well. one by perks master(Pepper Pecan)and one by a streak of fling(shortcake).
I have had Shortcake for a while for Molly.   She sure is fun and I liked her from the first time I swung a leg over her.  She's a little pistol for sure and can be a little hard headed but for the most part she's lined out...  Here  is a very recent video of Shortcake out of Molly Powells great mare PECAN!!  When Molly is ready she will be kicking all kinds of butt on her!

So, 3 years later..... How are these horses doing?

jojammer - 2013-12-05 8:15 PM Where's Mulberry Canyon Moon?
They have a facebook for her where they have been posting tons of pics of her babies. I am not sure who has her but she'd listed as being in Bismarck, Missouri. ETA: Owners are Matt and Bendi Dunn and it looks like they pull embryos at Royal Vista Southwest, same place as Dolly.

Yes, Matt and Bendi Dunn do own her and they pull embryos, but they post pics all the time when she is home.

barlracr429 - 2013-12-06 7:41 PM  All the steinhoff girls are still running.

the oldest is college rodeoing on a palomino
Tyrney runs Tin Zan Man.  They are in the barrel horsenews from time to time on the insurance ad page.  Tin Man was ran by Kelly Pitts and Steinhoff's bought him after Kelly finished top ten in Congress Barrels Sweeps and won the 1st go of the NBHA Open Worlds all in the same month one year.  Tyrney has been doing well and picking up 1D checks.
The youngest rides a Bully Bullion mare that she seems to love.
You can find all the girls on facebook.

What about Mesa Levitt?  Is she still running?  What about her horses that she won a bunch on? Can't remember their names but she had two of them, both reining bloodlines, when she started out.  Seems it's been 2 years since I've seen her name in the results
Mesa is still running and going to school right now. She runs all of the Barrel Bash races and works with Renea as well. She is a doll.

Her horse was JR Genuine Doc ( I think) and I am pretty sure he passed away but don't quote me on it, it may have been Sanjo, but I ampretty sure one of them has passed.

scamper - 2013-12-06 9:54 PM Codi baucom, probably butchered that. Sorrel horse is all I remember. I liked that horse. And Tonya wright (think last name is correct) she went to the NFR a few times on moe. There was a a gal that was qualified from Mississippi. I can't think of her name but it seemed like her horses were siblings and it was early 2000s and they were sorrel. I know one went to the left. Anyone know who I am talking about?
Codi Baucom on Naughty________, had nice, nice runs in the 06 NFR I just watched.
Loved that team. I 'think' she got married a year or so after and started a family. Besides Sherry Cervi and her career with react horse, one of my favs is slim and brandy. They held the area a record at t&m for awhile.

Slim, I Am Not Te, is retired and happy at home with Brandie. He was run for awhile by Shae, quilified her for the Jr.High Finals and Brandie said he didn't need to go anymore, He doesn't owe us anything.  We owe him.

What about Tammy Keys Round Pen? Is Charmayne's Cruiser still alive? I have a few old old Barrel horse news laying around sometimes I dig out and look through I often wonder where some of those "cover models" are now.

I don't have very many favorites but the way he ran just stole my heart.i bawled like he was my own when he died.I even had a blanket with his name on it made and I sent it to his people but I never heard from them.He truly broke my heart when he passed away.

What about the horse PJ Burger made the NFR on, but didn't get to take him?

Saw he was entered in some American Qualifiers so Fancy Man Perks is still being ran.
