| It is my understanding that although there is no public confirmation the couple who owned Tiget has given his food, bowls etc to a local rescue group. There is no information if Kristen reached out to them, doing so would confirm he was not a feral tom cat. It is possible she is trying to make amends in an effort to avoid charges being filed. |

Â blood test showed our baby would have ds. Â our doctor called us in. Â he said i have already made you an appointment for the abortion. Â you two are too young to start your lives with this problem. Â lets get it done and you can start again. Â Needless to say that was not an option we kept our child and no he does not have down syndrome!!! Â gonna turn 20 this summer graduating top of his class in welding school. Â
our society has lost balance. Â we have murderers of HUMANS who get less harrassment than this girl. Â I am not condoning what she has done in any way. Â my animal i would have beat the **** out of her and then i would be the one in jail. My 2 cents for what it's worth....this is a barrel racing BB...full of animal lovers...this topic is of interest to nearly everyone who owns horses, dogs & cats, which is nearly everyone here....all these other "more important" topics that some of you all seem to think should be discussed because you deem it "morally superior" to the lowly cat killer is what I call hijacking this thread.....if you want to talk about abortion, humans being tortured and killed, or whatever else, then start another thread and get it all going your way...but let this topic be what it its...off my soapbox....

and please as far as animal lovers. Â nobody can say they love animals anymore than i ...... i get very minimal sleep thru calving season. Â you do not know the sacfrices i make for the livestock and pets that i am responsible for.
the other point that should be taken here and this can apply to you.
very simple.
when you put stuff on the internet always remember it has consequences!!! Â she is and should suffer financially from not only her actions but her very proud behavior of running her mouth in public. Â when you make a living from selling a service or a product you should be careful with how you treat the public and how you display yourself. Â people do not like to offended and then give you moeny!!

Are premeditated pointless, cruel, evil acts which, by your own words, you enjoy doing, "mistakes"? If A sociopath stated publicly "I love killing things" would you write it off as a mistake if he then drove an arrow into your horse's head? Did this person ever come out with an admission of wrongdoing and admit she simply made a mistake? Serious question.
I saw the blog... Personally I saw her talking about "killing things" as a tongue in cheek reference to hunting, especially since she elaborated to say animals, drinks, and hangovers. Keep in mind she was in college when she wrote that... I saw it as college style humor.
As as far as the claim of her being "premeditated", she took a shot while target practicing.... So no really. More like a hillbilly hunter move IMO. Irresponsible and an ahole, but psychopath not so much. Jmo.
I think that she's a moron that made some stupid decisions. Many young people try to show off over fb and sometimes it bites them in the butt.
Some me of the responses on her blog are pretty disgusting. The girl killed what her stupid butt thought was a feral... She's not Hitler. I'm not defending her actions because she was wrong, but I doubt she's evil incarnate. I think she's likely a younger person who has never learned to act as a professional and sat out the day they discussed ethics.
And ps, I love cats. I'm very sad for the cats owner... But when you let animals roam, you accept the possibility that something can happen. Usually it's not a. Arrow to the head, but they can be run over, killed by wild animals, etc. |

This is probably why the Colorado vet school she graduated from issued the statement they did. I'm sure they want to defend their program. It's a wonder she graduated with such an immature view of her profession. I wonder if this attitude was in evidence to her professors or if they push the kids through carte blanche and hand them a diploma |

I quit going on in school but peers who I went through biology and chemistry classes with have garduated from vet school. I helped them make it through biochemistry and organic chem....I love them to death but they had to remediate numerous classes over the summer and I'm sorry I just don't deem thme smart enough to be trustworthy taking care of my animals when it comes to anything other than vaccines or writing a health paper. They push vet students through at some schools and if they don't pass they remediate or pay to take it again and again until they can pass and graduate. Remember not all vets are top of their class, the ones taking care of your critters might be those C sometimes D students that passed their boards by the skin of their teeth. |

Pretty much how I see it but I don't consider it a mistake. I don't think she gave any thought to if it was feral, she saw a cat and wanted to see if she could hit it and took the shot. It was a pet that was not running in fear as a feral cat would do, she shot it through the eyes- not an ethical shot for bow hunters, no thought process of confirming if it needed to be put down, no thought process of being sure it was a clean kill and those actions or lack of them may speak volmes about her.

The Vet is mistaken go look at the picture again. All four legs and paws are there. One leg is blocked by a leaf but you can see it's paw right below. I am not trying to stick up for her just trying to keep the record straight. |

I mentioned that I thought she would have a hard time finding a job with all of the vets and vet schools admonishing her on the internet. He said just that.......her only job will probably be as a USDA vet at a slaughterhouse. |
