| Anyone know of any horse-business related internships for the summer? Anything to do with working, riding, learning WHATEVER! |

Location: OK | You should post your location, some about your experience, age, sex, what discipline you are most interested in and what you require as in room, board etc. Also be prepared for some grunt work. |

| The Lazy E takes interns and I think over the summer it would be sales prepping. Tons and tons of information to learn there! |

| Thanks everyone for answering! Yes I've seen a couple like Pete's and would love to but I'm in college on scholarship so I can't just leave in the middle of a year LOL. I'm 19, barrel racer, I just want experience. My dream would to be a professional barrel racer( don't we all) and something like what Pete posted except during the summer would be ideal. I'm definitely not afraid of hard work or manual labor. I have tons of references. I would apply to Pete's in a heartbeat if my scholarships would allow.
Also I'm right outside of Memphis,tn but I'm totally ok with going somewhere else! |

I saw that the other day on Facebook and started drooling. If I wasn't expecting 2 foals I would be all over that. My mom offered to take care of my horses if I wanted to try for it but I won't leave when I have foals coming, she knows general care buy not foal care.

This isn't exactly an internship or a barrel racing job. However, I had the absolute best summer of my life working on a horse ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming! I learned hard work, horsemanship, and rode many different horses throughout the summer. Just an idea :) |

| My husband and I have been throwing around the idea of having a summer intern this summer. We are in SC. We focus more on the training and futurity end of the barrel racing business. Send me your resume if you would be interested. [email protected] |
