Location: Never in one place long | Trying to decide between taking my family on a trip to OKC or Tulsa? I went to Tulsa a few months ago and LOVED it but thinking OKC would be fun too.... my Sister isn't into Western stuff and I want her to have fun... any great restaurants or fun things to do? I'm thinking the Toby Keith bar and isn't there a river walk? and the OKC Bombing memorial. |

Location: Oklahoma | There is the "riverwalk" in Bricktown. It's pretty neat, but not done it in years. I would suggest walking around in the stockyards, but that probably won't be fun if you're not into western stuff. BHN did an article over OKC back in November for the BFA. You might can get some good ideas from that. |

When I was in school, we used to go on field trips to the Zoo and Science Musuem. It's been years since I've gone but at the time, the museum had a flight simulator that you could get in and try to fly a jet. That was fun but then again, I was 14-15 when I went lol. |

Location: Always on call..... | Definitely Bricktown and the zoo are good.
Take your sister to Remington Park for the horse races. I have taken a bunch of my non horse friends and they all loved it. It's cheap, great atmosphere, has a casino, several restaurants and bars. You can get close to the saddling paddock and the track, which my non horse friends actually think is pretty cool! Remington is racing QH's every weekend (Thurs - Sun) starting this weekend through June. Remington is actually considered kinda a "hip" place to go in OKC. There'll be tons of non horse people there.
There are also some new outlet malls south of OKC that are supposed to be pretty good. |

Location: In my own world | I personally think the National Cowboy and Western Heritage museum is fun even if you aren't inti western stuff. If you like sports the Softball Hall of Fame is across the road from the zoo. My Aunts coach softball and we made a trip out there to watch the college games. They enjoyed the museum and I enjoyed the softball one |

| There's a restaurant on top of Devon tower, called Vast, you have to make a reservation but it's good food and neat experience. You then can walk to brick town. Or the melting pot is always fun, it's in brick town.

Location: Okla | Zoo, Softball Hall of Fame, Firefighter Museum, Science Museum Oklahoma (Omniplex), Remington Park (all these are in close proximity of each other) Myriad Botanical Gardens is really nice, it's close to Bricktown. If the weather is nice an evening/night River Cruise in Bricktown is fun. (there are some really neat bronze statues along the river that are cool to see after dark, plus you cruise past a lot of the local nightspots that outdoor patios and live bands.) |
