| I have heard really good story's of nice like that. The horses seem to be catty yet speedy. |

Thanks, anyone else?
What are other proven crosses on frenchmans guy mares (grand daughter).
I'm pretty sure we are going for the FWF stud, but would love to hear the magic crosses. |

Location: MD | I love to put some run on the bottom side of a FG. DTF has of course, crossed very well on FG mares. I have had two FG out of a Sir Austin Duncan mare that I absolutely loved though. |

| DTF is a must these days ... so look around and find you a son and see what you like on the bottom side ... might be a FWF daughter so you get both ...
James Ranch Okla has a son of ASOF with a dynamic DTF bottom side ... there are several good studs bred this way.. so look around ..

We are trying to breed for a paint. My other option would be the DTF paint stud thats out there Dash Ta Magnolia?
I love Streak of Fame, but he'd be a down the line guy with one of our QH mares. |

Location: MD | If you're shooting for color and seeing how well DTF has crossed with FG blood... I would look at Sky High Fame. Osage Spirit wouldn't be a bad choice either. |

Location: MD | Okay, now that I went back and read your last post thoroughly, you're in good hands. Kacey will have a great understanding as to how any of her studs would cross with your mare |

My friend bred and raised Dash Ta Magnolia, before he went to his current home. If you are looking for a paint, I'd definitely have him on the top of the list, just from knowing her. Her husband is still my farrier. |

That's why I really like Strait.
Confirmationally he would do well with my mare. Osage Spirit is one to consider.
So DTF's cross better than FWF? |

Yes DTF's are a proven cross on FG. I cant think of any FWF X FG that really stand out. |

For my taste, that's just not enough speed. He's a good stud, but you'll have more turn that run in that pedigree. That might be what you want.
For me, I'd breed a straight racebred mare to him or find a racebred stud for that mare. But everyone's goals are different. |
