hayrite is the gold standard.
And being you are Sville, your best bet is Hayrite. |

| I bailed on Omnis in January and am impressed with HayRite. They're the way to go. |

Location: Tulsa, Ok | My 34 year old gelding has had omnis, hayrite and standlee. He like omnis, but they are somewhat difficult for me to obtain on a regular basis. Standlee and hayrite are readily available. He east standlee well but does not like hayrite near as well for some reason. |

| My 3 love the Omnis but as others have stated are not easily acquired. I have to take about 2/3 hours out of my day on a Saturday morning to go get a load. I would like to try the Hayrite but don't know where they would carry them around Ardmore, OK. |

| Curious though, why are people baling on the Omnis? Horses won't eat them, hard to get, just curious. As I stated, mine love them and have done extremely well on them. |

I bailed because they were doing too good on them, lol. They were not getting ridden and got fat, plus I have one that I suspect is a PSSM horse. I just switched to Danco's Mustang Sally cubes, which are just alfalfa. I will not hesitate to go back to Omnis if I need to once I start ridding them again.

| Oh yes, I hear you...2 of mine have done very, very well on them and it has helped my 28 year old put on needed weight for the winter. My problem is that they all run together so the two probably get their share plus. Wish I could separate them but when I have to be at work I don't have the time to stand around and monitor them while they eat. I will say it has helped my gobbler slow down some on eating hers. But I am sure my older guy doesn't get his share but I also pen the 2 up when I feed what little grain they get with their supplements then I give the older guy more. He is doing well just not sure about next summer. Seemed like this summer was hard on him. |

Location: In the Hills of Texas | I bailed on the OMNIS cubes because my horse wasn't doing good on them. I contribute it to hm not being able to tolerate oats. Third horse in my long lifetime that I have had a horse that couldn't eat oats.
I went to the Danco Mustang Sally cubes and he does great on them. I tried the Hayrite and they are just way too hard and he would try to eat them and ended dropping them on the ground and went to his coastal instead. I tried wetting them and he didn't want any part of that. |

| Up until a few months ago, I lived in Stephenville. Feeding Hay-Rite was the best thing I ever did for my horses. The great thing is you are close to the warehouse in Weatherford. They are a lot cheaper if you get them from there. |

| I picked up a bag of the Omnis, I was reading the label and it said it was not recommended to soak the cubes. I have always soaked mine. Does anyone know the reason? |

| Because of the flax that are in them. Besides the Omnis cubes you do not need to soak, they are a softer cube. My 28 year old has no trouble eating them. |
