| Don't worry about it. Tiany just roached Show Mance's mane. He'll be slick in shiny with no mane to get her hand caught in at the Finals. #newtrend |

Rub it in and then bag it in a tail wrap. |

Location: Illinois | I put coconut oil on mine. Their hair grows between 1-2" per month depending on the horse. A couple years ago I bagged my tail just to see how long it would grow and it was dragging the ground 8". Now that its loose and I don't mess with it the longest it gets is the bottom of his fetlocks. It's kinda messy when you put it on, but I just applied it once a week. It took about a month to start seeing results at first. It grew one horse's mane to almost 3 feet long & I didn't want to deal with that upkeep so I stopped using it on him and it's gone back to its usual 2 feet long. He's an appy too, so it was crazy |

How often did you apply the coconut oil? |

Do you have before and after shots of yours on Biomane? Been thinking about it for my mare who rubbed her mane and tail and forelock out this summer due to allergies. |

I did once a week. Applied it to the base and then just ran my fingers through. I do a good wash once a month, if they're outside it can hold some of the dirt on the hair. And I'd wash right before going anywhere if I wanted him to look clean for a run, usually when pictures were involved. If you do that and then braid the mane it works well, my braids stayed in 2-3 weeks with little breakage. The oil held the hairs in place and kept the braids nice all the time. Just can't have oil on the part where the rubber band goes, or the band will snap fairly soon. I always cover my rubber bands with electrical tape for extra security |
