Location: Kansas | I have gone back and forth about selling my mare the last several years because of being in school and literally not going AT ALL. After I graduated last year, I was all "I'm going to get a job and have sooo much money and I can rodeo again!!!!" And yeah, that didn't happen. So now I'm starting grad school so I can take a job that requires a certain degree, leaving me working full time and also going to school full time. So I'm contemplating trying to sell her, but if she doesn't sell, I'm going to keep her and breed her next spring.
Sooooo, who do you think she would cross well with and why? "Rhoda" is by Captain Biankus and out of a Streakin Six granddaughter. I'd like to add some size and turn.

Location: the high desert | Firewater ta fame would add some height as he is 16.1 hands. I just recently found a stud named smashing nick bar and he looks nice, he is 15.2 hands. Howling corona is nice and he is 16 hands tall. I have several others but I dont want to drown you lol.

I really like how Firewater Ta Fame is put together. I've also been leaning towards something Dash For Cash bred so he's one I've been looking at. |

| I'd really look at Lions Share of Fame for her. He's just an awesome specimen, and his owners are great to work with. |

| It surprises me you need more turn with her being by Captain Biankus! And I say that smiling. He was a really nice barrel horse. Good luck with whatever you decide. Another you might check out is Slim Fittin Jeans, I think they still have frozen semen from him. Can't go wrong with what has been suggested either. |

Yes!! Bryel is so awesome. I bought a breeding to LSOF through a stallion service auction a couple of years ago and between mares not wanting to ovulate, just plain not getting in foal and one in foal finally and dying - she has been WAYYYYY more than accomodating and let me use the breeding outside of the breeding year it was supposed to be used for. Unfortunately I wasn't been able to get a mare in foal to carry full term and deliver (this has been NO FAULT of King's), but am thinking of buying another breeding to him in 2015 so I can give it another try on a Not-so-problem mare.
He is one of the few DTF sons I would breed to.

Do you have any names of specific horses by him that are running now? What kind of characteristics does he throw? |

Actually Trudee isn't by Honors. (But she was bred by Peggy.) HOWEVER, Randi has a new mare that IS by Honors. (And out of the same mare as Trudee.) Her name is Makin Money Honor. There are others running too, I'll have Peggy visit this thread. |

I agree. I love how Captain crossed on Jet Of Honor mares. Peggy has had some really nice foals by her stud out of Biankus mares.I used to own your mares dam. Her only foal for me died at birth. The mare was sure nice looking. |

Use this thread to discuss stallions that would work on this mare or what you like
but do NOT use this thread to self promote your stallion |
