If you do a search on here, there are a lot of threads discussing joint supplements. Having said that, oral supplements have not been proven to work as well as Injectable medications. I use polyglycan, adequan, and Legend.

I feed cosequin ASU plus HA.

I don't currently use any of the injectables. I inject joints when needed. I used to use adequan and legend but didn't notice any extension of the life of my joint injections with it so I quit using them. When I quit using them, I didn't notice a decrease in the life of my joint injections either.

I use ActiFlex 4000. It was recommended to me by a BB on here a couple years ago and I've loved the results. Not the cheapest option but well worth it to me.

Cosequin ASU (reccommended by vet) and adequan. I put all my running horses on adequan as a support and "preventable" to help with normal wear and tear. I only have one horse that requires injections and it has helped the longevity.

For preventative I use THE MM with joint added. For an existing problem (arthritis ect) FlamOxide is awesome and I also like the injectibles. I also believe in the PHT and BOT stuff. Both have worked wonders for me. PHT has my mild-severe navicular mare trotting sound with the bell boots and nothing else. BOT helped heal up my suspensory mare in half the time and kept the swelling gone. So bone and tendon.

For feed thru suppelents I have found Actiflex 4000 to be the most cost effective and work the best out of all the stuff I have tried. I now have them on pentosan. I run older horses and it really makes a difference.

Animal Element has the Performance Detox which is great for joints, hooves, coat and topline. It's very affordable and has no fillers so you get the most bang for your buck!

I have been using Actiflex 4000 on two of mine for a few months now with very noticeable results. I give them the liquid form and if you buy it off bigdweb.com it comes with a free quart with a gallon purchase.
