What are your thoughts on Tres Seis Broodmares? And crossing them with Streak of Fling?

Except I hope your not planning on breeding this year unless you already bred. He is booked full for this year.

It should be a great cross. Tres Seis on a Streakin Six son should be magic.

A good friend of mine doesn't like line breeding streakin six. I don't have personal experience with it, but I would think this cross would be sweet!

I'm a huge Tres Seis fan and think in the next few years you're going to see that name quite a bit in the barrel pen and even the roping pen. There are some really nice young horses being brought up now that should be running soon.
I think that cross would be great and without meaning to brag, I know we could put our TS son on any line out there and know what we're going to get....big hip, nice bone, athletic ability and attitude and it would be a sorrel with white socks
. We did alot of experimenting with different types and lines of mares to see what would work as to go that direction, but there wasnt one that didn't work.
What really pleased me is that the grandget of TS are doing so well for those that can't afford the stud fee of TS himself. In Slim's first couple of foal crops
(which would be about a half dozen horses
) there is a mare with futurity and now pro barrel earnings and a gelding that won the WY all breed derby by 4 lengths.
Look forward to your baby pics next spring

That is an exciting cross. I haven't seen anything out of a tres seis daughter on the barrels yet...so nobody really knows that answer to the op yet. Most TS daughters will be producing for the track I'm sure. But I think it would be pretty hard to mess up ASOF X TS cross.

Well, I do believe Lance Graves ran a daughter of TS at Old Fort and won it a few years ago on Seis So Sweet. I don't know if she's still running or in a broodmare band now. They are coming and I'm sure that would be a cross to keep an eye on! I know Rockinas will have some soon! She owns a few daughters and has some nice babies on the ground this year already.

Streakin Six? both top and bottom? I am a fan of both, in fact a huge fan. If you do it let us know how it turns out

Because to me it's a no brainer of a breeding . . .
