I use fly boots when mine are in dry lots. It keeps them from stomping 24/7. I don't like to use fly spray because you usually have to use a ton of it and then I feel like I need to scrub their legs before I put boots or wraps on. |

Location: WI | Love my shoofly leggings. They do not come off my horse, heck i even ride in mine occasionally. They hold up great, my horse tears all over the place in hers and i have yet to loose one or one to damage. She has had them for a year now. |

Location: MN | We use fly boots. I'm behind on putting them our old mare. She goes through 2 set every year. I think crossing the creek is hard on them. |

| You can get ankle and neck fly bands. They simply snap on. I have used them with lots of success. Don't use them on horses that like to dink around and pull them off. Lol |

Location: Somewhere between raising hell and Amazing Grace | I have used the citronella bands you snap around their necks for years and love them. This is the first year I have tried the bands that go on their legs. They do work great, but may not fit bigger horses. I have them on my TB gelding and they just barely fit him. They help a lot though.
I have not had any luck with the leggings, however, it's has been a very long time since I have used them. I know they have come out with better designs since. |

Location: on my horse | What brand and where do you guys get the fly bands that snap on? I would probably invest in them. If anybody has a link they would like to share that would be much appreciated! |

Location: USA | I've had really good luck with the Kensington brand fly boots - my girls wear them all the time, their legs aren't ever hot or sweaty, no rubbed spots and they stay where they are. I got them off of horse.com |
