I've heard and read that Governor Moonbeam signed into law a provision that automatically grants illegal aliens driver's licenses, and that automatically makes them registered to vote. Is this true?

A law was passed that allows illegal aliens the right to apply and take the test for a drivers license, but no person is just given one. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Obviously, the most important question, in my opinion, is whether or not they are automatically registered voters the minute they are issued a license.

"California Becomes 2nd State To Automatically Register Voters." On October 11, California Governor Jerry Brown "approved legislation that automatically registers citizens to vote when they obtain or renew driver's licenses or state identification cards,"

In a move lawmakers hope will drive more Californians to the polls, Gov. Jerry Brown approved legislation that automatically registers citizens to vote when they obtain or renew driver's licenses or state identification cards.

The measure, known as the "New Motor Voter Act," was signed into law Saturday. California joins Oregon as the second state in the nation opting to register voters through its department of motor vehicles. Oregon passed its law in March.

California's Secretary of State Alex Padilla, who sponsored the bill, said in a statement the law will "make voter registration seamless" and it would amount to "the largest voter registration drive in the nation's history."

So illegals would automatically be registered voters the minute they are issued a license? If that's true, where the hell is the outrage?

Wow. A license to be a legal illegal. Talk about an 'end around'! It may be too late to rescue the people of this country from the politicians.

That's right. Hard to be outraged when you're too busy thinking about Lamar Odom or Dancing With The Stars... I love my state. But sometimes I want to divorce part of it.

The key word is "citizens". Are they talking LEGAL citizens? Or any "citizen" who obtains a driver's license? The Dems have been pushing this agenda for along time. I remember discussing in high school how the Dems would get
the vote for illegals virtually guaranteeing Dems staying in power indefinitely because people will keep voting themselves a handout. .....And I just attended my cough...cough....40th class reunion.

This is the link to the bill.  It only applies to legal US citizens, but we all know how well that works...

https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billNavClient.xhtml?bill_id=201520160AB1461

Many provisions for "mistakes" not due to the applicant. This is yet another disaster from our idiot governor.  One more reason to move from this state...
