Location: Missouri | I have been having really bad barrel hitting issues the past 2 years and my horse stopped running. I wanted to give up this summer and sell, but my friends kept encouraging me to keep trying sooooo.....
I asked a local trainer/rodeo friend to pick a spot for me at the 2nd barrel to ride to. There was a banner behind the 2nd barrel and she told me to ride to the "G" I won the 4D, first check in 2 years. It was a good FB joke all week, saying I found my "G" spot, lol. This past Saturday even the announcer during my run, said ride to the "G" LOL well............I won the 3D this week. I told the arena owners they had to leave that banner up, and when this winter series is over.....I'm buying it! I'm going to have a traveling "G" spot LMAO |

She's not finishing her 2nd and 3rd like she should now, so once I get a few more clean runs under our belt to boost her confidence, I'll work on helping her finish them. Plus I started her on a little Healthy Coat and Red Cell about 30 days ago. I'm sure we are lacking a half second just in our barrel not being as nice. It's a start though! |
