My daughter in law is wanting to breed her mare and she has narrowed her choice between these 2 as they fit her budget. Which do you like best and why? She is breeding a Royal Quick Dash / Takin On The Cash mare.

The FED is more proven himself, but I like everything about Guys Easy Jet better. He also has full siblings that were standouts in the arena.

Guys Easy Jet is outstanding. I dont know why he has not been competed on enough to prove himself.

His owner just hasn't been able to haul much. But she's been entering on him recently. He was at the last race I was at

I can't say anything about FED but I have a coming 2yo by GEJ and there is NOTHING that I don't like don't like about this colt and I have colts by other nice stallions like firewater ta fame and chasin firewater. His dam is a daughter of Blushing Bug and in my opinion has a long back and light bone. The cross on GEJ gave me a colt with a shorter back and lots of bone. Great personality, he's in a little run and comes over to the fence to say hello every time. The minimal amount of ground work I have been able to do with him has gone so well that people who Didn't know any better commented that they thought I had been working him daily. Smart, smart, smart. Time will tell how he is under saddle and on the pattern but as of right now I'd try and sell you another one of my colts before I'd let you buy him.

FED _ I got the chance to see him a couple months ago and he is so nice and so gentle and kind. That Easy April Lena breeding is hard to beat. A big plus is that the Henry's are great to work with. I bought a horse from them and they were the best to work with. I would rather go with a horse that has proven his own athletic ability in the arena or on the track.

My mare is bred to Guys Easy Jet and I have a breeding contract for next year. Grandson of Easy Jet is pretty hard to beat in my book. Easy Jet horses are very trainable with a great dis
position to go with it. Of course Frenchmans Guy speaks for himself. Sally Milum gave me the best deal which I could not turn down. Jordan Petterson Briggs has had great success with Guy's full siblings. The reason that he has no been competed on more is that Sally had some health problems during his futurity years and she has had to take care of her mother. Not trying to make excuses but sometimes life gets in the way.
I pick out about three horses that I think will cross on my mare and have to go with the best deal that they offer. Guy had the most bang for the buck.

Glad to hear about the short back. My mare is as long as a freight train. I think Guy's first babies will be old enough to run this year. Maybe wrong

Thank you all for the compliments on my Guy. We are extremely proud of him and his future as a sire Not to make excuses for not hauling him when he was younger but as someone stated above about mine and my mothers health well it's been more staying home to take care of my mother. But we are trying to venture out this year and get some runs under our belt. Being 59 this year and have not really been in competition since his purchase I know I am a huge hindrance to him.
We are so excited that people are loving his babies There is only 1 four year old this year and she is mine and has been broke and I'm holding her back for the 5 year old futurities as looking forward to having him in more incentive programs next year. There have been some of the top NFR and Futurity riders that have bred and are continuing to breed to Guy so again we are excited about the future of his foals.
There are several people that know me personally on here and can back me up when I tell you he is extremely gentle and quiet. Stands like a gentleman at the trailer and as I ride around. The Myers themselves have complimented me several times how they also feel about him.
Again thank you so much for considering GUYS EASY JET!!!
